Job Description:

Formulate mathematical models through regression analysis statistical methods to evaluate data trending for forecasting, process optimization, and model simulation to improve project operations; perform economic analysis for domestic and foreign projects of current market trends, equipment warranty, maintenance and installation costs to identify cost-saving scenarios and provide recommendations to project management, including Return on Investment (ROI), Residual value, Payback period, Benefit/Investment Ratio (BIR), and Sensitivity Analysis; work closely with management to improve and/or design and develop analytical tools for measuring and assessing key performance indicators (KPI) to increase business operational efficiencies; provide necessary research and data with information from various sources including analysis reports, past project, and planning databases to identify opportunities and recommend optimal solutions to increase revenues and decrease costs for domestic operations, and international environments with foreign currency exchange risks; collaborate with project management in layout design of equipment placement in new facilities; work with corporate leaders to develop and apply research and innovative ideas into business tools and process mapping for competitive advantage; develop cost-comparison studies to evaluate competitiveness between vendors in terms of pricing, discounts, and product acceptability to provide an optimal or alternate recommendation to the client while developing technical specifications; develop vendor/supplier matrixes; develop equipment planning responsibility matrixes for all parties including planners, owners, contractors, architects/engineers, interior designers, consultants, low voltage specialists, and manufacturers/vendors; manage relationships with key vendors, establishing quality guidelines that are clearly communicated, enforced, and monitored to ensure a high level of performance; write Standard Operating procedures (SOPs) and Best practices for new processes used in the procurement, and logistics work streams; participate in user meetings to ensure all equipment is correct in terms of models, quantities, manufactures, vendors, and accessories/options to procure; create, issue and/or track requisitions and purchase orders of medical equipment; generate monthly reports on procurement and logistics key process indicators, including bi-weekly and monthly PO Variances, PO Statuses, and Logistic status reports; generate and update project procurement schedules to track all equipment to be purchased; generate and update project equipment installation schedules to track all vendor-installed equipment; track architecturally significant changes generated from user meetings to distribute change reports to the project manager, contractors and architects; participate and support project teams by providing qualitative and quantitative research and analysis during planning, procurement, warehousing and installation phases of projects; maintain records of equipment purchasing information and reports in databases; incorporate equipment specifications, terms and conditions, contract language, service level agreements and acceptance processes for bidding and/or negotiations during the procurement process; develop technical equipment specifications according to project requirements and user preference; create user meeting summaries and follow ups to track all changes in testing equipment process, update the database accordingly and generated final reports that include technical calculations and suppliers and equipment research; review, evaluate and analyze vendor responses to Request for proposal (RPFs), Request for quotes (RFQs), Request for Information (RFIs) and bids; create and publish RFPs for warehousing and installation of medical equipment and perform subsequent RFP analysis to identify the most appropriate solution based on the costs of storage, distances from the job site, transportation and labor costs; establish and manage warehouse related activities and requirements pertaining to the receiving, storage, documentation and delivery of medical equipment; schedule vendor deliveries to warehouses or hospital sites, and equipment installations; ensure that pre-installation requirements of major equipment are in place before any installation is done, coordinating with contractors and project managers; carry out walk throughs with the clinical users for final sign-off of equipment and generate the close-out documents including final equipment lists and technical specifications, open issues, and vendor contacts; assist in the production of marketing materials to respond to clients’ RFPs pertaining to procurement and logistics during the bid phase of the projects; work closely with management to create an online knowledge management system for the collection, organization, retrieval and archival of key knowledge assets to aid in future research and project deliverables; participate in technology, best practices and skills training offered internally and through vendors and relevant professional associations; create IDEF0 (Function modeling method) models to help depict and understand how a system could work, how it could be improved, and which areas need further development; create IDEF1 (Information modeling method) models to help identify what information is being used or is lacking within the system; create IDEF3 (Process description capture method) models to help document and simulate different process scenarios; use Lean Manufacturing concepts and techniques including Key Process Indicators (KPIS), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA), Value Stream Mapping to help evaluate processes.

Job Requirements:
